Hi everyone! I’m new to the world of board management and would love some advice. I’m particularly interested in understanding what makes a board run efficiently and what metrics or practices are commonly used to measure its effectiveness. There seems to be so much information out there, and it’s hard to know what’s truly important for getting things done efficiently. For example, should we focus more on member attendance, decision-making processes, or maybe something else entirely? If anyone has insights or can share some good resources, I'd really appreciate it. Thanks!

Hi both! I came across this thread and thought I’d jump in, as I'm also interested in learning more about effective board management. It’s really interesting to think about how attendance, decision-making, and communication all play a part in a board's success. Thanks for sharing that resource on board management statistics; I’ll be checking that out too!
